Record Your Analysis to Share

Capture a shareable screen recording of workout-video playback, overlays, and analysis results.

Last updated · App version beta

Screen recording captures the analysis playback—skeleton overlay, equipment tracking, and live metrics—into a video file you can save or share. You can burn in the metrics overlay, pick a quality preset, and optionally capture microphone audio.

Steps

1. Open Recording Settings

Open the screen recording dialog and configure your preferences before you start.

2. Pick a quality preset

Choose a Recording Quality preset, for example 720p or 1080p at 30 or 60 fps with a target bitrate. Higher settings look sharper but produce larger files.

3. Choose what to capture

Toggle Record metrics overlay to burn the on-screen stats into the video, and Record microphone if you want to narrate.

4. Fine-tune encoding (optional)

Advanced Settings expose the codec (H.264 vs H.265), profile and level, bitrate mode (constant or variable), and keyframe interval for precise control over compatibility and file size.

5. Record and save

Start recording, run the analysis, then stop. The finished video is saved to your device.

Tips

  • H.265 (HEVC) produces smaller files; H.264 (AVC) has wider compatibility for sharing.
  • Enable the metrics overlay when you want the numbers visible in the shared clip.
