The Video Settings sheet opens from the playback screen and controls how each video is processed for analysis—frame rate, pose detection scale, and on-screen monitoring overlays. It also holds Advanced Settings for fine-tuning the detection engine. Options marked Beta appear when beta features are enabled.
System Information
Review the hardware details Form Focus uses when recommending detector resources and performance defaults.
Current Device
Lists the phone manufacturer and model, CPU and core count, GPU, total memory, and Android version. These are informational; they help explain why recommended settings can differ between phones.
Show Performance Metrics
Displays a live system overlay while the video plays. It reports CPU usage and per-core frequency, GPU pressure when the device exposes it, total and app memory usage, and a low-memory warning.
Show Video Info Box
Displays source resolution and frame rate, pose-model input size, effective processing FPS, and processed and dropped frame counts.
Frame Rate
Choose how often frames are processed and whether the app can lower processing FPS when playback starts struggling.
Processing Rate
Sets how many frames per second are processed for pose detection. Locked while Adaptive Frame Rate is enabled.
- Native—match the video's own frame rate
- Fixed values of 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, or 60 FPS
Adaptive Frame Rate
Beta. Watches for repeated frame jumps during playback and steps the processing FPS down so playback stays smoother.
Show Notification
Beta. Shows a toast each time Adaptive Frame Rate changes the processing FPS. Only available while Adaptive Frame Rate is on.
Pose Detection Scaling
Controls the image scale used for pose detection. Higher values improve accuracy but require more processing power and may take longer.
Adaptive Scaling
Beta. Automatically adjusts the scale based on scene complexity, raising it for harder frames and lowering it when the scene is easier. Tuned around 30 fps video.
Scaling Preference
Beta. When Adaptive Scaling is on, a Speed-to-Accuracy slider biases borderline frames toward faster or sharper detection relative to your device baseline.
Manual Scaling
When Adaptive Scaling is off, a slider sets a fixed processing scale from Minimal up to Native resolution. It shows the output dimensions, highlights the recommended range, and warns when the selection is below the accuracy recommendation or the video's minimum resolution. A reset action returns a manual override to the device recommendation.
If saved preprocessed pose data is active, the scaling controls are disabled because the saved results already contain their processing scale.
Adaptive-tool limits
Adaptive Scaling is designed for 30 FPS video. Do not use Adaptive Scaling and Adaptive Pose Detector at the same time; enable only one adaptive tool for a video.
Advanced Settings
Expands the detector-model, scheduling, hardware-delegate, confidence, benchmark, and reset controls described in Advanced Settings. Detector changes are applied when you tap Done.
